18/10 Pubquiz Fundraiser for SENSE Charity

Sunday 18th October: How much do you love a pubquiz? We are continuing to raise funds for Caroline’s marathon effort for the invaluable SENSE deafblind charity at Uncorked Academy. This time the fundraiser will take the form of a pubquiz on general knowledge. It’s a fun evening for a good cause, with a few drinks thrown in and prizes to be won! If you do not have a group, you can join a table (tables of 4 persons max). COVID social distancing measures will be in place as usual.
WHEN: Sunday 18th October, 17h-19.30h
WHERE: Uncorked Academy, C/Farell 12 bajos, Barcelona 08014
COST: Entry 20€ per person, including one drink per quiz round (4 drinks, 4 rounds), with proceeds going to SENSE Charity.
BOOK: Donate 20€ via Caroline’s fundraising page with your name and “QUIZ 18 OCT” in the message section (and a team name if you are joining with friends).

Zara Patterson

Hello, I’m Zara Patterson, originally from Northern Ireland but Barcelona has been my home since 2006. Although my uni background is in PR and Events, my natural progression in gastronomy along with years of wine training has led to sommelier accreditations from WSET (Level 2 Award in Wines) and Gremi de Restauració (Sommelier Diploma). At Escuela Hofmann I have undertaken their Michelin-star specialisation diploma in paella, to take my cooking classes at Savour Academy to the next level. For the sustainability cause, I also received my Environmental Management qualification from Foment Barcelona. With Savour Academy, I’m combining my love of creative culinary events and hosting in my favourite place in the world. I like to share original, sustainable and fun experiences; preferably with food and wine, based in Barcelona.
