20/07 Kids Storytelling with Cooking Class: Pancakes, Pancakes!

Saturday 20th July: Get your little ones into storytelling with a cooking theme. Mark O’Connell presents his family interactive session, with a vivid storytelling of Eric Carle’s book Pancakes, Pancakes! Followed by a live cooking class where the children help to measure, spoon, stir and flip! The kids and parents then enjoy pancakes in good company. This activity is recommended for 2-6 year olds approx. but is entirely flexible and depends on the child and parent interaction.

WHEN: Saturday 20th July, 15-17h
WHERE: Uncorked Academy, C/Farell 12 bajos
COST: 15€ per child. Parents go free! (Optional extra to share wine with other parents).

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Mark has been an ESL teacher for all ages for 5 years, with a focus on young learners. He enjoys being animated and bringing stories to life, for an unforgettable experience in books and food!

Hello, I’m Zara Patterson, originally from Northern Ireland but Barcelona has been my home since 2006. Although my uni background is in PR and Events, my natural progression in gastronomy along with years of wine training has led to sommelier accreditations from WSET (Level 2 Award in Wines) and Gremi de Restauració (Sommelier Diploma). At Escuela Hofmann I have undertaken their Michelin-star specialisation diploma in paella, to take my cooking classes at Savour Academy to the next level. For the sustainability cause, I also received my Environmental Management qualification from Foment Barcelona. With Savour Academy, I’m combining my love of creative culinary events and hosting in my favourite place in the world. I like to share original, sustainable and fun experiences; preferably with food and wine, based in Barcelona.
