Join us on a colourful, cultural journey of over 2000 years of Sangria-making history in Spain. You are sure to learn something as we make – and drink – our way through two types of Sangria using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

What to expect from our Sangria & Tapas Workshop

We present tapas with the Sangria. So olives, pan con tomate (we prepare the country style bread with tomato in a group), cured ham jamon serrano, Spanish manchego cheese and a tapas cooking demonstration to make a tapa de temporada (seasonal dish).

At our Sangria & Tapas Class you’ll share classic sangria creations with good times and tapas.

Speaking of fashion, you’ll “fashion” some classic and signature sangrias from different eras, with typical tapas to accompany your creations, and surprises along the way…

Oh, and you are guaranteed to laugh!

Savour academy is the absolute best! My 3 girlfriends and I were visiting Barcelona and stumbled across this sangria making class and it did not disappoint. We got to make pitchers of sangria from early Roman era & a modern day version. In addition, we got to enjoy amazing tapas as well. Zara is the instructor and you’ll learn everything there is to know about sangria including it’s history! I would recommend this class to everyone it’s perfect for visitors, locals, date night, bachelorette trips, etc! My girlfriends and I all agreed that this was one of the highlights of our trip.
